Acting for Screen & Audition Technique Workshop
£85.00On Sunday 16th August, 9am-3.30pm, MJSPA will host its first ever Acting for Screen & Audition Technique Workshop – an industry training day designed for young performers ready to take their skills to the next level.
Students will gain real insight into the world of screen acting, audition technique and self-taping, exploring the key differences between stage and screen performance while learning what casting teams are really looking for.
Every student will leave with their own self-tape, created using professional lighting and backdrop setups – perfect for those looking to approach agents or pursue professional opportunities.
The workshop will be led by Megan, who has over 15 years of professional screen experience, including leading roles in The Sparticle Mystery (CBBC), Ransom (CBS), Sherlock Holmes (BBC), Learners (BBC) and Holby City, among others.
We’re also delighted to welcome special guest tutor Jonny Weldon, best known for Rivals, One Day and House of the Dragon. Jonny will lead a special session sharing industry insight, audition advice and experiences from his career.
Open to ages 6–18, spaces are strictly limited to ensure every participant receives individual attention and coaching.
