This September the Megan Jones School of Performing Arts will be launching musical theatre classes in Egham, Surrey!
Do your kids love singing along with Elsa or can’t stop dancing with Timon and Pumbaa? They can enjoy singing and dancing to their favourite showtunes every week at the Megan Jones School of Performing Arts!
With classes for 5-11 year olds on Saturday mornings and ages 12+ on Thursday afternoons, MJSPA offers an amazing opportunity to learn Musical Theatre from West End stars, in Egham.
Principal, Megan Jones, trained at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School before making her West End debut in Dreamboats and Petticoats playing the lead role of Laura at the age of 17. She then went on to play the leading role on the UK tour of Bill Kenwright’s ‘Save the Last Dance for me’. Senior Teacher Ellen Sheridan, also a former Sylvia Young pupil, made her debut in the West End’s Billy Elliot when she was still at school!
The MJSPA team will be offering an incredible, fun experience for local children in Egham and the surrounding area.
The class focuses on teaching students how to perform using basic technique in singing, dancing and acting, all whilst building their confidence and making friends… The main priority is having fun and ensuring everyone leaves with a big smile, excited for the next class! MJSPA is focused on not only the physical wellbeing but also the mental and social wellbeing of its students and will be ensuring all of our teachers are mental health first aid trained.
