Kids Class fees
Fees are termly based on the duration of the class and the number of weeks in the term. We do not charge for half term or bank holiday weeks as there are no classes.
30 minute classes – £6 rate+VAT (£7.20 per class)
45 minute classes – £6.50 rate+VAT (£7.80 per class)
1 hour classes – £7.50+ VAT (£9 per class)
If you join during the term the fee is done pro rata based on the remaining weeks. If you are re enrolling for the next term your fee will be for all the weeks in the term. We do not remove week’s from the fee if you can’t make it. We need to ensure we can plan ahead to get the best teachers and cover hall fees and so like most kids classes ask for full term payment. Payment is due ahead of the first week of a new term.
We offer a free trial for the first class for each discipline. Your fee is then based on the remaining weeks after this. You can book a free trial through our class manager booking page https://app.classmanager.com/trials/megan-jones-school-of-performing-arts-8184
Discounts – We offer a 15% multi class discount for students in more than one discipline. We also offer a 15% discount if two or more sibling are enrolled. These two discounts can’t be used in conjunction so 15% is the max discount. If you are eligible for the discount when you enrol we will apply it against the total fee. If you pick another class later on or a sibling joins later on the discount will just be applied against the added student or added class fee.
We do not accept childcare vouchers. Payment can be made via our booking system class manager or directly via bank transfer. When you enrol we will send you an invoice to your email address from class manager. If you book private classes or additional workshops you will receive an invoice from quickbooks and payment can be made via bank transfer.

You can buy a drop in (pay as you go) class for £10.20 (£8.50+VAT) .
You can buy a more flexible class pass for £96 (£8 a class+VAT X 10). You will have a pass added to your bookwhen account which will allow you to book all the different class options, move classes around and cancel.
We also offer a termly class option at the start of term. This is similiar to our kids classes where you purchase a specific class for the whole term. This is at a rate of £9 a class (£7.50+VAT) multipled by the number of classes in the term. This varies each term so please check the bookwhen website at the time. This pass only allows you to attend that specific class and you can not move your classes if you can’t make it.
About our classes
We have kids classes from age 3-18. These are broken out by age groups (Mini, Junior, Inter & Senior). Age is used to decide which class you are in, although teacher’s may choose to move students up an older class earlier if they need it to keep progressing. Our age guides can be found on the schedule within the location pages on the website and are in the schedule below.
Adult classes
Kick Ass Dance class is a fun fitness dance class open to all abilities
Adult tap is a beginner/intermediate tap class
Adult Jazz is an intermediate dance class for those with experience
Adult musical theatre is open to all abilities
Kids classes
Ballet – We teach Royal Academy of dance ballet. The earliest age group is baby ballet. At Egham we have a mini ballet class similiar to pre-primary ballet. We then have graded classes starting at grade 1. Students are able to take their RAD ballet exams with us.
We also teach Modern, tap and acro dance for all age groups up to 18.
We have musical theatre and drama classes. Drama starts from age 6 and musical theatre starts from age 3. Our teacher Megan was a West End leading lady and we offer some of the best musical theatre classes in the area.

Parking for thorpe village hall is in the school car park. Please enter the school car park, go through the gates and park on the school playground. You must then enter the building from the side entrance next to the benches.

Parking is free on site. Enter the college via the side entrance at the top of the high stree. Travel down into the car park and follow the buildings down to the sports hall. The dance studio is through the double doors on the left hand side.

Musical Theatre & Drama students are required to wear our MJSPA top with black trousers/leggings and black trainers. Our dance classes have seperate uniform.

Our dance uniform can be purchased from a third party wholesaler here who manage deliveries and refunds. You do not have to purchase the items directly from here if you find it elsewhere. We have outlined the required items below.
We offer all day workshop opportunities in the Summer, Christmas & Easter holidays. We also take part in All England Dance affiliated dance festivals. Workshops and festivals carry additional fees
Every year we host an annual charity show and all students have the opportunity to take part. There is no fee for taking part in the show.
We offer private classes depending on teacher availability. For an hour this is currently £72 (£60+VAT)
